Juli]] [[2004]] machte Pater Prior Gebhard des [[Benediktinerstift Admont|Benediktinerstifts Admont]] die Dachböden des Stifts und der [[Blasius-Münster|Stiftskirche]], von Kirche und Pfarrhof [[Johnsbach]] und von [[Gstatterboden]] für eine Untersuchung der Gebäude bewohnenden Fledermäuse zugänglich. Diese Untersuchung wurde von Dr. Friederike Spitzenberger und Ing. Edmund Weiß im Auftrag der [[Nationalpark Gesäuse GmbH]] gemacht. Dabei wurden auch die Gebäude der Wehranlage Gstatterboden und der Dachboden des [[Kraftwerk Hieflau|Kraftwerks Hieflau]] am [[20. Juli]] 2004 von Gerhard Krenn vom Verbund geöffent. <br /> <br /> In insgesamt 15 Gebäuden, die ihre Nutzung durch Fledermäuse untersucht wurden, konnten vier Fledermausarten nachgewiesen werden.
